Message from the Principal

Jessica Jarrett principal

Dear Families,

Thank you for partnering with us at Nash to share in your child’s educational journey. We are greatly looking forward to a wonderful school year filled with accomplishments, growth, and development academically and socially. It is our mission to ensure every child is provided with a well-rounded educational experience to ensure they have the foundational tools necessary in order to be successful in their future endeavors.

At Nash, we believe that school should be stimulating, challenging, and fun! We provide our students with research-based curriculum and utilize personalized learning opportunities, technological blended classrooms, small group instruction, and AVID strategies in order for them to thrive.

Here are some helpful tips to support your child’s development at home:

·         Talk about school every day: Ask questions; What did they learn? Who did they play with? What was a favorite thing that happened today?

·         Provide a nurturing environment: Establish and follow routines, read daily, provide calm space for work completion, limit screen time.

·         Attendance Matters: Ensure your child is present and on time to school every day.

·         Stay involved: Use ParentSquare to check in, ask questions, and stay connected to your child’s teacher.

Let’s work together to make this year a joyful, meaningful, and successful one for your child. We are so glad to be on this journey with you!

Sincerely,

Jessica Jarrett
